Selective Focus

For a photography class I took in the fall semester we were given a selective focus assignment, with the goal of capturing detailed photos of indoor or outdoor objects.

One morning before classes began, I was walking outside behind one of the main buildings on my college campus, Olmsted Building. Behind Olmsted, there is a garden filled with student sculptures and installations with beautiful and intricate details. I decided to capture photos from this setting for my selective focus assignment. The majority of the photos consist of the natural surroundings, and some capture the art in the garden.
